Avnish Goyal founded Hallmark Care Homes with his brothers in 1997 on a single belief: every older person deserves dignity and exceptional care. Twenty-nine years later, that belief has become 22 award-winning homes, with eight more in the pipeline.
In 2022, Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded him a CBE for services to social care and philanthropy — presented in Her Majesty's last Birthday Honours List.
For nine years Avnish chaired Care England, the sector's largest representative body, guiding it through a global pandemic. He now chairs Santhom Residences, a boutique luxury retirement brand.
